We're pleased to announce some improvements to Slack notifications for deployments today, with the deployment information sent to Slack in their enhanced format.

When setting up a new notification you'll find a new **Rich text message with extended information included?** option checked, below the **Message Format** in its settings. As a result, future deployments will send the improved notification to Slack:

Previous, uncustomised notifications will now carry the new format on all deployments from today, which can be reverted to the older style simply by unchecking the **Rich text** option. Any existing Slack notifications with a custom Message Format have been left as they are.
