DeployHQ accepts a wide range of payment methods through Stripe. The methods available to you are automatically determined based on your billing country and currency. Below is a breakdown of what is available in each region.

## Global payment methods

The following payment methods are available to all customers regardless of location:

- **Credit and debit cards** - Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- **Apple Pay**
- **Google Pay**
- **Amazon Pay**
- **Link** (by Stripe) - save and reuse your payment details across Stripe-powered sites
- **Klarna** - buy now, pay later

## United States

US-based customers can use all global payment methods, plus:

### Bank debits
- **ACH Direct Debit** - pay directly from your US bank account

### Digital wallets
- **Cash App Pay**

### Buy now, pay later
- **Affirm**
- **Afterpay/Clearpay**
- **Zip**

## Europe (EU/EEA)

European customers can use all global payment methods, plus:

### Bank debits
- **SEPA Direct Debit** - pay directly from any EUR bank account in the SEPA zone

### Important note for UK customers

Bank transfers and bank debit methods (such as SEPA Direct Debit) are **not available** for UK-based accounts. Credit/debit cards and digital wallets are the recommended payment methods for UK customers.

- **Canadian pre-authorized debits (ACSS)** - pay directly from your Canadian bank account

## How payment methods are selected

When you add or update your payment method by clicking **Change Card Details** on the Payment details page, Stripe automatically presents the payment methods available for your billing country and currency during the secure checkout session. You do not need to configure anything manually.

If your preferred payment method is not shown, verify that your billing address and country are set correctly on your [payment details](payment-details) page.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I switch between payment methods?

Yes. You can update your payment method at any time by clicking **Change Card Details** on the **Settings > Billing > Payment details** page. Your new payment method will be used for all future invoices.

### Why is a specific payment method not available to me?

Payment method availability depends on your billing country and currency. Some methods are region-specific (for example, iDEAL is only available in the Netherlands, and ACH Direct Debit is only available in the United States). Make sure your billing country is set correctly.

### Are there any additional fees for alternative payment methods?

No. DeployHQ does not charge any additional fees based on your choice of payment method. Standard subscription pricing applies regardless of how you pay.

### Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. DeployHQ never stores or has direct access to your full card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment data.
