We’ve recently implemented new functionality for DeployHQ users, which allows for a geographical zone to be selected on a per-project basis. This means deployments will run from a server within the set location, rather than the UK. If you’re deploying your project from a location outside the UK, selecting a location appropriate zone, will give a speed advantage for future deployments.
Whilst creating a new project, a zone can be selected from the dropdown menu. In order to change the physical location your project is deployed from once it has been created, just head to the Settings area within the project, and choose a different location from the (default) UK zone via the Project Zone dropdown.
To ensure the new server locations are allowed through the firewall on your server, you may need to add our additional location IP ranges to your servers by reviewing our Firewall FAQ.
Following on from our USA expansion, we'll be looking to add more global locations both in the coming months and during next year.
