Introducing Public Framework Templates: Deploy Faster, Deploy Smarter

We're excited to announce that Public Framework Templates are now available to all DeployHQ customers! Getting started with a new project just got a whole lot easier.

What Are Public Framework Templates?

Public Framework Templates are curated, pre-configured deployment templates designed to help you hit the ground running with your favorite frameworks and platforms. No more spending hours figuring out the perfect build commands or deployment settings—we've done the heavy lifting for you.

Each template includes framework-specific build commands, deployment configurations, and industry best practices, so you can focus on building your application instead of wrestling with deployment setup.

A Template for Every Stack

We've created templates for the most popular frameworks and platforms, organized into convenient categories:

  • Static Sites: Jekyll, Hugo, Gatsby
  • Frontend Frameworks: React, Vue.js, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js
  • Backend Frameworks: Laravel, Django, Rails, Symfony, FastAPI
  • Content Management: WordPress, Drupal, Ghost, Craft CMS, Kirby, ProcessWire, Strapi
  • E-commerce: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento

Public Templates

Whether you're building a static site with Hugo, a React application, or deploying a Laravel backend, we've got you covered.

What's Included in Each Template?

Every public framework template comes packed with:

  • Pre-configured build commands tailored to your framework
  • SSH deployment commands for server setup and automation
  • Smart file exclusions (no more accidentally deploying node_modules!)
  • Framework-specific environment settings
  • Common configuration files your project needs

Plus, you can preview everything before you use it—click the Preview button on any template to see exactly what build commands, SSH commands, and excluded files are configured.

How It Works

Using a Public Framework Template is incredibly simple:

  1. Navigate to the Templates section in your DeployHQ account
  2. Browse the available templates or filter by framework category
  3. Click Use Template on the template you want
  4. Create your new project—all the template configurations are automatically applied
  5. Customize as needed for your specific requirements

You can also select a template directly from the Template dropdown when creating a new project.
