Important Considerations

Stability and Support

  • Beta features may change: Functionality, interfaces, and behavior may be modified based on feedback
  • Limited documentation: Beta features may have evolving documentation as they develop
  • Best effort support: While we provide support for beta features, they may not have the same SLA as stable features
  • Potential bugs: Beta features may contain issues that are resolved during the testing period

Production Usage

  • Evaluate carefully: Consider the stability requirements of your deployment pipeline
  • Test thoroughly: Always test beta features in non-production environments first
  • Have backups: Ensure you have alternative deployment methods if needed
  • Monitor closely: Keep an eye on deployments when using beta features

Data and Settings

  • Account-wide setting: Enabling beta features affects your entire account
  • Reversible: You can disable beta features at any time through account settings
  • Feature-specific controls: Individual beta features may have their own enable/disable options

Providing Feedback

We value your feedback on beta features to help us improve them before general release:

  • Report issues: Contact support if you encounter problems with beta features
  • Share suggestions: Let us know how beta features could be improved
  • Usage patterns: Tell us how you're using beta features in your workflow
  • Performance feedback: Share your experience with feature performance and reliability

Beta Feature Lifecycle

Development: Features are built and tested internally

Beta Release: Features are made available to beta program participants

Feedback Collection: We gather user feedback and usage data

Refinement: Features are improved based on feedback and testing
