Deployment timed out, exceeded 6 hours

If you're seeing the following error whilst deploying:

Deployment timed out, exceeded 6 hours

Excluded Files

It means your deployment has taken too long, most likely caused by too many files being uploaded. It may be worth seeing if any of these files can be added to your excluded files list if they don't need to be added to your server.

Transfer Protocol

If the deployment currently connects via FTP, then you could try using SSH/SFTP as this is generally much faster for transferring files.

Manual Upload

As a last resort, if this is your first deployment you could manually upload the files to your server, to then skip the first deployment and only have to deploy changes. This is also advised if your repository has previously been uploaded to your server.
